Figure out better way to locate MATLAB
Reported by Christopher Stawarz | April 20th, 2010 @ 06:17 PM
Currently, in order to build or use MWorks components that link against MATLAB libraries, one has to create a symbolic link (/Applications/MATLAB) that links to the local MATLAB installation. This is annoying and inelegant, so it'd be nice if we could think of a better way to locate the MATLAB installation.
Maybe we could figure it out at runtime from the /usr/bin/matlab symlink? However, I'm not sure that all versions of MATLAB create that link.
