Server ignores data file directory

The server's "Open Data File..." dialog allows the user to
navigate to any directory. However, the directory is always
ignored, and the data file is created in
~/Documents/MWorks/Data. This is confusing for users,
since the dialog leads them to believe that they are selecting the
destination directory.
Ideally, users should be able to choose the directory to which data files are saved (see this ticket). But until this is possible, the dialog should make it clear where the data file will be created, either by preventing users from navigating to different directories or throwing an error if they do.

The "Open Data File..." dialog is gone, so this issue is no longer relevant
