EyeWindow pegs the CPU even when idle
Reported by Christopher Stawarz | February 12th, 2010 @ 02:55 PM | in 0.4.5 (closed)
Immediately after the client connects to the server, EyeWindow starts using 100% of a CPU core, even when no experiment is loaded. It's totally unacceptable for my MacBook's fan to be spinning at full speed when I'm not even running an experiment!
This happens because the method aggregateEvents: of MWPlotView runs every 0.000005 seconds. There must be a better way for it to do what it needs to do.
