Data file open failure looks like success
Reported by Christopher Stawarz | February 12th, 2010 @ 02:13 PM
If the server can't open a data file (e.g. if /Documents/MonkeyWorks/Data doesn't exist), an error is logged to the console, but the main client window still shows the file name (instead of "Not streaming to disk..."). If the user isn't looking at the console, they may believe that the file was opened successfully, only to discover later that no data were captured.
When a data file fails to open, the client should display "Not streaming to disk...", so the user knows that something went wrong.
