Drifting grating should be odd-symmetric by default
Reported by Christopher Stawarz | April 8th, 2011 @ 11:41 AM
The fix could be as simple as changing the default value of the "starting_phase" parameter from 0 to 90. However, I'm not convinced the grating is drawn 100% correctly (i.e. it looks a bit off center).

With central_starting_phase, users now have a sane way to give their gratings whatever symmetry they want. However, in order to preserve the behavior of existing experiments, I'm not changing any defaults.
