Variable substitution sometimes works when it shouldn't

- State changed from “open” to “resolved”

It sometimes worked due to
UnresolvedReferenceVariablesometimes (but not always) performing the substitution. It now works consistently, in any expression, thanks to the addition of variable interpolation to the expression parser and the removal of UnresolvedReferenceVariable.
